For a variety of reasons, some couples choose to make their marriage official ahead of time and then celebrate later with a symbolic wedding ceremony in Savannah. Or, they choose to skip the ceremony entirely and just celebrate with photos, flowers and cake!

And guess what? That’s totally okay. We believe love should be celebrated however feels right for you.

Do You Need a Ceremony to Elope?

The short answer: nope! A ceremony can be legal or symbolic—or skipped entirely. While an officiant is included in our all-inclusive Savannah Elopement Package, it’s not mandatory to use that service. Some couples choose a non-legal wedding ceremony, while others opt out of a ceremony altogether and simply enjoy photos, flowers, cake, and beautiful moments together.

If you’re already married, we can easily swap out the officiant service for extra photography time instead—so you still get the full experience with a personalized twist.
