A Morning Elopement in Savannah’s Whitefield Square

Sara and David, who first met in high school and reconnected years later, celebrated their love with a morning elopement in Savannah. Their special day, August 18th, 2023, unfolded in the charming Whitefield Square, beautifully captured by photographer Jaclyn Armeni.

Starting early at 7:00 am, Sara began her preparations on Drayton Street. Her hair was styled into a bridal masterpiece by Royal Makeup and Hair. Then, a stunning bouquet of flowers arrived from Ivory and Beau, perfectly setting the scene for the day’s events.

Then, at 9:00 am, the scene shifted to Whitefield Square, where Jaclyn, Reverend Stephen, David, and their guests gathered in anticipation. Nestled in Savannah’s historic district, this square offered a serene backdrop for their vows, creating a moment of pure enchantment.

The ceremony began at 9:15 am, filled with love and tradition. David, with his back turned, awaited the signal to see his bride. In this moment, when Reverend Stephen gave the cue and David turned to see Sara, their eyes met and their smiles were radiant!

Following their heartfelt vows, the celebration continued with a unique and joyous bubble photo (so dreamy!). This brought a whimsical touch to their memorable morning elopement in Savannah. Subsequently, the family gathered for photos, each snapshot radiating the warmth and happiness of those present.

Next, Sara and David embarked in photos around downtown Savannah. The early morning light, combined with the square’s natural beauty, offered a perfect setting for their wedding photos, <3

As the photo coverage came to a close, the couple’s next adventure awaited. A beautifully crafted cake, made by Wicked Cakes of Savannah, was delivered to Jalapenos Mexican Grill. It was time to celebrate!

So, Sara and David’s morning elopement was not just a testament to their love but also a celebration of their journey together. Their wedding day was a harmonious blend of romance, beauty, and the enduring charm of Georgia.
