I’m not sure I’ll ever get over the magic that comes along with a Lafayette Square Elopement. The dark green fountain perfectly encapsulates the history of Savannah. It also makes for the most amazing elopement backdrop!

A Lafayette Square Elopement

Jennifer and Joe said “I Do” in October 2020. They decided they wanted to get married at Lafayette Square with just their children in attendance. It had been a strange year for everyone, but despite the crazy circumstance, they were so excited to tie the knot. We had such fun walking around downtown Savannah, taking their couple’s portraits! It started raining, but with their clear round umbrella, we created magical photos that are some of my favorite to this day! Having things go “not-as-planned” on your wedding day isn’t always a bad thing! The rain made for whimsical moments in the dreamy downtown streets of Savannah.
