The Savannah Elopement Package is an all-inclusive ceremony package that includes 1.5 hours of photography, bouquet + boutonniere, hair + makeup, a cake, and an officiant! Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy real elopements and inspiration!
If you are a fan of bright colors and furry friends, you are going to love Sarah and Peter’s elopement! This couple added so many personal touches, from a hand-dyed veil, to a Zoom call to celebrate with friends and family, to even bringing their dog and cat along! For the summer elopement, the couple chose Lafayette Square. Lafayette Square is one of our favorite spots for a ceremony! It’s a little less busy than other squares, the mossy oaks are gorgeous, and the green fountain brings a perfect pop of Savannah magic. The couple had their own officiant so they didn’t use ours – and that is perfectly okay! At The Savannah Elopement package, you can customize to fit your needs.
The couple wanted a bright color palette, with lots of pink and purple. So they chose a medium cascading bouquet, with purple and hot pinks touches. We love how it tied in with her hand-dyed veil! Sarah added color with her purple earrings and a super fun jumpsuit. Peter tied in the colors with a dusty blue linen suit and floral pattern shirt. But the coolest part? Sarah’s ring! It’s made of pink dinosaur bone – yes, bone!
After their ceremony in Lafayette Square, we walked down to Forsyth Park for some portraits in front of the iconic fountain. The couple added extra time, and booked photography for 3.5 hours, so we had plenty of time to walk around! Next, we headed to Foxy Loxy Cafe, where the couple booked the courtyard for an hour. They enjoyed downtime eating cake, Zooming with friends and family, and snuggling their cute pets. They brought their dog and cat, who was also their cute cake toppers. Sounds pretty perfect to us! We love it when our couples bring in their pets for the elopement.
While they didn’t have any guests attend, they wanted their family and friends to still be there. So we love when they set aside time during their celebration to chat with loved ones over Zoom – and Sarah + Peter even cut their cake with their favorite people watching!
After the cake cutting (they chose a lemon blueberry cake with a floral design – and it was delicious!) we headed to Starland Yard for a few more portraits. This fun area is just south of Forsyth Park, and an easy walk. There you will find cool murals, food trucks, and a little less tourist traffic – so more private!
If you are planning your Savannah elopement, and are looking to have some video time with family and friends, we can always add on an extra hour of photography, so we can capture the moment.
