Driftwood Beach at Jekyll Island is one of those places that’s so incredibly beautiful, yet not a lot of people think of it as an elopement ceremony venue! 🙂 When couples think about eloping in Georgia, they may think of Savannah, or Tybee Island, but not many people know of Driftwood Beach! If you’re thinking about eloping in Georgia on the beach, don’t pass up on Jekyll Island! 10 miles of pristine beach and gorgeous views of the ocean – you won’t be disappointed.

Kristen and Chris were married with the Savannah Elopement Package at one of the biggest pieces of driftwood I’ve seen (it made for the prettiest backdrop!) among their 5 boys, friends and family. When I say it rained during their ceremony and throughout their pictures, I mean it RAINED! What’s that old saying? It’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day! Just wait until you see the pictures – they braved the torrential rainstorm and created the prettiest pictures!

And yes, they have 5 boys – all under 9 years old! A blended family filled with love <3 They’re the sweetest kids and you can tell they love their parents so much! Kristen ordered a custom, large bouquet from Ivory and Beau and a two-tier cake from Wicked Cakes of Savannah. An all-around magical, rainy, dreamy day!
