Eloping at Whitefield Square

We are so excited for you to see the photos of Lauren and Shawn’s ceremony! They knew eloping at Whitefield Square was their dream, and we had everything planned out perfectly! But something we can’t control is the weather. Savannah is notorious for spontaneous rain showers that only last a few minutes, and we just happened to get one in the middle of Lauren + Shawn’s ceremony! And we high-key LOVE the images! This couple totally rocked the rain and made the most of it with so many smiles and so many laughs! We love the couples’ reactions and how you can see the raindrops in the photos. It made for an unexpected dreamy moment! As the ceremony ended, Lauren, Shawn and their guests rushed to get underneath the gazebo at Whitefield Square to stay dry, and we started their family photos there while we waited for the brief shower to pass.

Once the rain cleared, we finished up their family photos and took their couples’ portraits in Forsyth Park. The sun was shining at that point and the light we got for photos was epic. We had the best day and I’m so thankful for our couples who will roll with the punches, no matter what they are! Congratulations to Lauren + Shawn! 🙂
