Forsyth Park | September 12, 2020
Bonnie and Ernest were married on a stunning summer night at Forsyth Park. Their ceremony was intimate and personal, incorporating a sand ceremony to tie their two families together. Their friends and family, along with their children, watched as Bonnie and Ernest said “I Do” next to the Fragrant Garden in Forsyth Park. Forsyth Park has so many different areas with amazing backdrops, so we walked around and shot their couples portraits by the famous Forsyth fountain, and through the moss covered oaks. Dreamy is definitely an understatement!
And we can’t forget about the details! Bonnie chose the creamsicle palette for her flowers from Ivory and Beau, combining rustic oranges and pale yellows in an organic/whimsical bouquet style. The cake they cut was a 6″ round, traditional style in a red velvet flavor from Wicked Cakes of Savannah, and the couple also brought a donut tower (yes, always to this idea!) from the iconic Baker’s Pride bakery. And they added a little extra flair with flowers from Ivory & Beau to top off their cake!
Getting married in 2020 was a unique adventure for couples. But Bonnie and Ernest made the most of it with their matching Mr. and Mrs. masks! Even though their special day happened in the middle of a pandemic, they still had an incredibly special celebration! They had the most beautiful day in Savannah!
