A Forsyth Fountain Elopement

Katelyn + Kyle were married on a chilly January morning in 2022. They chose a Forsyth fountain elopement! We usually have a Forsyth fountain ceremony in the grass a little ways away, as it’s a public area that is a crowded tourist attraction. But the early timing and frigid weather scared off most tourists, and we had the fountain to ourselves. So we moved the ceremony spot right next to the Forsyth fountain!

Katelyn had her hair and make-up done by Royal Makeup and Hair from 6:30am – 8:30am that morning – an early start to the day! Their ceremony with Reverend Joe followed at 9:15am – the perfect start to their day! Katelyn stayed warm for her winter elopement with a gorgeous faux fur jacket to keep warm.

After their ceremony, we walked around Savannah taking their couples’ portraits. And we loved the Old Savannah Tours trolley Katelyn + Kyle rented! They booked the trolley service to transport them from the Forsyth Park ceremony to The Alida Hotel, where their reception was taking place. It was perfect! And the winter igloos on the rooftop of The Alida added a dreamy touch to their celebration. The warm igloos have tables and couches inside to get cozy while enjoying a cocktail. Katelyn and Kyle’s elopement is proof you can definitely get married during the winter in Savannah!
