If you’ve been looking for some Southern elopement inspiration, just wait until you see Julie + Ryan’s elopement in Forsyth Park! We started the day with their ceremony one of our favorite spots in Forsyth – “Under the Oaks.” It’s so intimate and fun when it’s just the bride and groom, and we had such a nice time celebrating their elopement in Forsyth Park and then walking around Savannah taking their couple’s portraits.

After their couples portraits, we weren’t done yet! 🙂 Julie + Ryan booked a sailboat session with Sail Savannah after their elopement in Forsyth Park. We took photos as they watched the sun set, popped champagne and celebrated on the water. The best end to the day!

Just because you’re eloping, it doesn’t mean you can’t do all the things you’d like! Julie + Ryan knew they wanted to get married in Savannah (on land ) and also knew they wanted photos on the sailboat. So why not do both?! Your elopement is all about you, so make sure you do exactly what you want! You can have an elopement in Forsyth Park and then celebrate afterwards in any way you choose.
