1. Forsyth Park

Forsyth Park is easily one of the most iconic Savannah wedding photo spots. Its white fountain, grand oak trees, and endless greenery create a picture-perfect setting for both ceremonies and portraits. From classic poses to candid strolls, every shot here looks like it belongs in a storybook. Bonus – you can get SO many different backdrops, all within the park!

2. Whitefield Square

This charming square is known for its arching oaks and pretty white gazebo (major Gilmore Girls vibes!). Whitefield Square is one of the best spots for wedding photos in Savannah thanks to the soft light, elegant trees, and historic surroundings.

3. Monterey Square (Steps at the Former Alex Raskin Antiques)

The historic steps at the former Alex Raskin Antiques on Monterey Square give a beautiful, historic touch to your wedding gallery. With its weathered texture and grand architectural lines, this spot offers something a little different while still being unmistakably Savannah. And it’s an epic spot for photos if your wedding dress has a long train!

4. Jones Street

Cobblestones, oak trees, and stunning historic homes—Jones Street has it all. Often named one of the prettiest streets in America, it’s a dreamy choice for intimate portraits and golden-hour glows. It’s also conveniently close to many other top Savannah wedding photo spots, making it easy to add to your timeline.

5. Wormsloe Historic Site (Photo Permit Required)

Although ceremonies are no longer allowed at Wormsloe, it remains one of the most breathtaking wedding photo spots in Savannah. The oak-lined avenue is pure magic. We offer a photo add-on that includes your permit and entrance fees so you can still take portraits or do a first look here before heading downtown.

6. Lafayette Square

Lafayette Square blends historic architecture with a romantic garden vibe. It features a lovely central fountain and is just steps from the Cathedral Basilica, making it ideal for portraits, ceremonies, or both. Its versatility has made it a go-to for couples looking for beautiful Savannah wedding photography locations with multiple stunning backdrops in walking distance. (Something to note – they recently painted the green fountain black, but it’s still gorgeous in photos!).
